As the dust settles on another successful Packaging Innovations event, held recently at Birmingham’s NEC, first-time exhibitors – coding and marking specialists, DataLase – has been closely monitoring the impact of their maiden show.

With plastics once again high on the agenda and carbon emissions and sustainable packaging being the main topics of conversation, the event brought together hundreds of the industry’s leading suppliers alongside networking events and free seminars hosted by leading industry experts. The resulting high levels of footfall over the two days helped to provide exhibitors such as DataLase with the opportunity to showcase their latest developments and technologies to an engaging and attentive audience.

“We received a high number of positive leads from the two days and were able to fly the DataLase flag, which certainly helped create that all important brand awareness. We feel this is a key show in the UK packaging sector and are looking at potentially re-booking for next year.” added Paul.
