Leading Photonic Printing solutions company DataLase, part of the SATO Group, has strengthened its Commercial team with the appointment of Marco Pinna as its Senior Consultant for Brand Strategy & Innovation, Europe.

Marco brings many years of experience to his role at DataLase, which will see him focus on bringing the company’s unique Photonic Printing solutions to market across Europe. UK-based Marco, who is originally from Sardinia in Italy, wanted a new challenge to further his career: “I was really looking for something that focused on innovation and ambition and DataLase combines both of these elements.”

“My remit is to work closely with brand owners and strategic partners to identify and understand customer needs in terms of personalisation and variable data printing to meet current and future packaging trends,” said Marco, who together with his wife moved to the UK in 2015. “Once needs have been determined, we can then look to recommend and implement the correct technology from our growing portfolio to deliver specific campaign requirements.
