Leading photonic printing solutions company, DataLase, has appointed a new Marketing Manager to help drive the positioning and growth of its unique inkless solutions.

Laura Rickards brings 17 years of marketing expertise to the position, four of which are specific to the packaging industry.

Ms Rickards will be responsible for all company marketing activities aligned to DataLase’s overall business strategy, with a focus on positioning DataLase solutions as a unique way to deliver unrivalled consumer engagement campaigns through packaging. She will also identify and explore new markets for the personalisation of packaging, promoting DataLase technology as an innovative way to engage consumers with brands in a way that can drive value and at the same time positively influence consumer behaviour.

Commenting on the new appointment, Andrew Wragg, CEO of DataLase said: “Laura’s breadth of knowledge, including her expertise in packaging, will be instrumental to the team as we continue to drive the DataLase strategy and position the company as a major global player in print technology.”

Ms Rickards joins DataLase from rigid plastic packaging manufacturer and recycler, Plastipak, where she was a Senior Marketing Executive. She previously held a Marketing Executive role at Survitec – a global leader in safety and survival solutions across marine, defence, aviation and offshore sectors.
